help, when ever a curser floats over a video or a picture the image...

this happened right away from a fresh install of win 7 32

when ever i float the cursor over an image in the win viewer or a video in a web site,
the image shrinks left and goes black and white. this has been an annoyance from the beginning and now i have to use a java applet and i cant use it efficiently. any ideas?

It's not a virus, its got to be a setting. I have noticed if i try to watch anything in full screen because the cursor has no where to go it always shrinks left and b&w and very line oriented. If i have to monitors setup i can move the cursor off the video and it will restore.

    PLEASE help

    thanks

A little information about how powerful your computer is would help. You should try turning off the cruiser shadows in: Control Panel/ performance and tools / Adjust Visual Effects. It's a blue link on the left side near the top.

Seems like it must be a video driver issue. Find out your video car/chip manufacturer and model and go to their website and DL the latest Win7 driver. The driver that comes on the instal disk is ususaly pretty bare bones.
