Default Programs does not include WMP 12

Hello I came across a problem in Windows Media Player 12 today after uninstalling some stuff. For some unknown reasons Windows Media Player is not included in the list of 'Default Programs'(screenshot included). I noticed this changed after I uninstalled Zune. I won't be able to make WMP as my default player if this is the case. I would love to hear solutions from you guys.

Edit1: An additional problem that I noticed in WMP music library shows 'unresponsive' for the two folders titled My Music and Public Music. This also applies to Videos, Pictures, and Recorded TV. The last time I checked the Music library in Explorer it does not indicate 'unresponsive' in the two folder locations. I'm wondering what's happening?

Hello Native, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Double check to make sure that you have Windows Media Player checked under the Media Features section in Windows Features.

In addition, this should be able to help add WMP back to being listed in Default Programs.

    Hope this helps,
