    DVD Maker problem

Oh No! Something is not right.

I make DVD movies for my own enjoyment using Windows DVD Maker but recently after burning a DVD the Menu had generated a green bar below the picture.

At first I thought of a bad file but scans using numerous programs came up empty. Then I blamed it on me having a 64-bit machine but older films were clean. I put the blame of the program and tried AVStoDVD which burns using ImgBurn but still no change, just more green. Any ideas?

Added the picture since my attachment attempt was faulty.

Tried to open the image, but it just tells me it's an invalid link.

If you still have the original files, try DVDStyler Portable. Its very easy to use, but if you need help just ask.

There may be a problem in the file format. Get Format Factory and convert it to .wmv (even if it is already in .wmv). That may correct the problem.

It is going to take me a while, changing the format and then burning isn't fast. Regardless, even if this works it doesn't tell me WHY. I've been using the avi format for a long time without getting that green bar so even if the wmv helps I'm not any smarter. Would someone care to make me smarter?

I'm a happy camper!! I did as whs recommended and changed the file format to wmv (sorry whs but I had my own program for that) and green band is gone. Don't know why ... but it's no longer there. Thanks!
