    remove klite. install the Shark007 Win7codecs + x64Components addon

This software installs a Settings application. On 64bit systems it install '2'.
Run each of them with a rightclick on the shortcut and choose, run as Administrator to complete the installation.

open the 64bit settings application using a rightclick on the shortcut and choose, 'Run as Administrator'
The above action will setup the thumbnails.
OR, select the [Reset All] button, this will also setup the thumbnailing.

The thumbnaling software also requires .NET Framework 4 to be installed.
This is installed automatically by Widows update.
Checking Control Panel | Programs and Features should show several Microsoft .NET Framework 4 entries

    RE: flv thumbs

    Wicca -

Icaros (packaged with Shark007) is only functiional if you enable LAV Source Splitter - if you would rather use another splitter like gabest or ffdshow my understanding is that Icaros won't make a difference.. Anyway you might want to ask Shark007 Dev about that. ( My respects to the Shark007 - you've made one hell of a great product )

As good as Shark007 is though I recommend THOUROUGHLY uninstalling all codec packs - reboot your system. Then install Klite MEGA pack followed by Klite 64 bit pack. Next, go into your start menu and find the shortcut for the Klite Codec Pack. There will be two, one is labeled 64 bit - YOU DON'T WANT THAT ONE - just open the folder to the 32 Bit Klite folder and then go under the "tools" folder. The first item is called the codec tweak tool - RIGHT CLICK and open it as administrator. In the lower left side of the settings is a box marked thumbnails - click it and make sure that the flv file type is checked - better to just check the box labeled select or apply all - then click apply and close. Reboot your system and hopefully this will make you a happy camper.

Hope this helps - Good Luck!

*****Just remembered - sometimes you have to have WMP set as your default player or thumbs won't work properly. If WMP is set as your default and thumbs still aren't working try switching your default player to something else like MPC Home Cinema or Zoom Player (my preferred choice). Default file types can make all the difference.
