Right... neither would I today.

Which is why I'd mentioned making my "legacy" (i.e. abandoned by the vendor, but perfectly fine to this day) 10-year old v4 or 8-year old v5 setup for ACDSee available to you. Still will, if you want to try it. PM me is so.

Anyway, if you're satisfied with IrfanView, many people certainly use it quite happily.

I've put up with it for awhile now just wondering if there's a work around for it. In XP when you opened pics from say a zip file they'd use the same window but in win 7 they open in a new window.
