wmpnetworksvc and Media Player 12 try to index my whole HD

Is there a way to stop wmpnetworksvc and Media Player 12 trying to indexing my whole HD?
It even added 31000 mp3 taken from Oblivion editors directory!!
I tried to modify permissions removing wmpnetworksvc from some dirs but after a while I see this service has granted access again to those dirs causing WMP 12 to index EVERYTHING!
Moreover... WMP11 could exclude audio files under a certain specified size from indexing. WMP12 has no more this option? Ridiculous...

The controls you're looking for just aren't in the same place. The same effect can still be achieved through folder settings. I'm not sure about the min size requirement, however.

Are you using the Library system? If so, just change what folders are included in your Music Library.
Check out these tutorials for more in depth understanding:
Libraries - Personal and Public User Folders
    Library - Include a Folder
Library - Remove a Included Folder
Include in library - Add or Remove from Context Menu

Let us know if you need more help. :)
