How do I move pictures out of a subfolder?

    Hi,

I have created WAY too many subfolders in one of my folders, and want to re-organize those pictures.

I would like to empty all the subfolders I have and start again, creating just a few, bigger subfolders.

How can I do this without copying them all to the main folder and then go back and errase the ones I just copied? Is there a less time comsuming way?

Thank You and have a nice day :)

why copy to main folder first?? MOVE them to main folder first.

    1. Search in mainfolder (including subfolders) to files named *
    2. Order the found list on file type.
    3. Select all expect the folders. Or select folders only and reverse selection (in edit menu).
    4. Now drag on drap selected files to main folder.
    5. Check if subfolders are empty. Just check a few.
    6. Delete those folders.
    Is this what you want?
