How to change Picture Viewer frame color to black?

Hi everyone... I know how to change the color of windows, etc. but I'd like to specifically change the frame around the pictures to black. Black is better to the eye than the default white because it doesn't blind and enhances the viewing of any photography, especially dark ones. Thanks!

    Welcome to the Seven Forums
I can tell you that it does change that color with some custom themes, I am trying to find that location right now and will try to get back to you when I find it.
Here are two screenshots showing the default and what I get with one custom theme I'm using.

Thanks Jerry, looking forward to it. I don't really want to change the theme, just that white frame. Thanks!

I can change that to any color you want for you, using Windows Style Builder and post it here in a zip folder.
    &
This will be a custom theme and you will need to do 1 of these 2 ways of Enabling custom themes for it to work.
Enabling Custom Themes - Windows 7
    Or
Theme - How to Apply Custom Themes

Everything will still be the default Aero theme except though background on that Windows photo viewer.
All I need is the color you would like (preferably in a RGB format) and a name you would like to call the theme.
    Let me know.

Awesome! Well, the color is pure black, so RGB would be 000000. You can call it Black Picture Frame, to make it obvious, or anything else a bit more creative you wish! Thanks so much!

Here you go download the zip file at the bottom of this post and extract it to your desktop then put both 1 Black_WPV folder and 1 Black_WPV.theme file in C:\Windows\Resources\Themes

It will show up in Personalization under Installed Themes as Black_WPV

Let me know if it is OK
