    Blu-ray M2TS Files - Software Help Needed

    Hi, all

My new Blu-ray re-writer will not play all of my Blu-ray films.

The ones that will not work are made up of various M2TS files.

    Ones I've tried:

    VLC Player
    MPC Cinema
    Total Media Theatre 5
    DAPlayer

Any suggestions of decent freebies or purchase necessary options would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you in advance

You need BluRay playback software, and from my experience, the freebies are typically quite troublesome or do not work for many movies.

Did your player come with Bluraysoftware? Most do although its a stripped version. Most commonly, Cyberlink.

Also, is your monitor and Graphics card compliant for Bluray playback? Should both be HDCP compliant.
If you do not meet all the criteria, you Blurays may not playback properly even with good software.

For paid, my personal favorite of all Ive tried is Nero Platinum. Sadly there is no trial for it, you just have to buy it.

Theres also Cyberlink Power DVD thats a paid program. They offer a 30 day trial.
