How Do I Display MP3 File Duration In Explorer?
I've selected it in view - choose details, but all I get is a column with "duration" at the top and nothing listed underneath.
I know these mp3s are fine as I've been using them on my old machine running xp Now running Windows7 premium on a new machine. All mp3s were transferred from a usb external hard drive on to my new machine Thanks |

My experience is different. Windows 7 Pro, SP1. Explorer will not show length (or duration) in either details or content format UNLESS THE FILE IS ON A WINDOWS XP MACHINE. Yes, I can take a file on Win7, copy or move it to a WinXP machine, and then the length column will populate for that file. So I am still looking for a solution to this problem

Windows 7 does not do this, which is fine, I thought, I'll just highlight all the files with Ctrl+A, doesn't work, I... |

In explorer, I select the "Details" view and I add a column to see the "From" attribute. Nothing shows in this column. What is missing ? Thanks. |
