    Lost My Pictures folder!

As seen in the pics, my Standard Account has lost its My Pictures folder that still shows in my Admin Account, how do I get this back?

    Hello CJW,

I don't see any pics either.

You might see if you may be able to use OPTION TWO in the tutorial below to restore the default location of the My Pictures folder to fix this.

User Folders - Restore Default Location

    Hope this helps,

What happens when you click on 'Pictures' in the left pane.

    Aargh! Windows.

I have NO idea why this happened in the 1st place, but after another reboot (this time due to 2yr. old daughter pressing power button on case ), all is back to normal...well, as far as the Pictures folder is concerned.

Another Q though. When I want to save a picture from the web>I R-click the picture & choose "Save Picture As...", it automatically wants to save to the 'Libraries\Pictures' folder; can I change this default so it tries to save to a certain account's folder?

When you right-click the picture and choose Save As you can use the left-hand pane of the Save Picture window to navigate to your chosen folder and click Save when you've opened the required folder.

That's just what I do seavixen32, but there must be a way to set the default folder manually.
