Best video player?

    I try use sharks codecs but they are not working,clasic klm codecs 5.0.5 works perfectly. BTW which subtitle format use WMP? srt seems not right file(same name as video).

    if u want to use some other software rather than using the codecs for ur WMP u can use d following:
    1)VLC player(latest version)
    2)Haihaisoft universal player
    3)nero show time player

    Neither do I. I run every file type known to man and VLC handles all of them by itself. I haven't installed a codec yet in win 7. If I did I would install individual files not codec packs (except for shark's of course <g>).

    d softwares i named were not d codecs. they are external softwares which can be installed if d user wants and they were d best video players i think.

    i don't know if it's the best, but i use kmp, the km player - and no codec packs!

    i only install codecs for encoding.

    No problem. I got homecinema x64 aswell, really cool. What .dlls do you mean?

    @codecs: I use shark007's codecs for mkvs since that was the only way for me to get my bluray rips 1080p h264 to run properly in 16:10 with MPC. Of course you only need the haali media splitter to watch them on WMP, but i don't like black borders. I hate them, tbh. I never had any problems with them, no spyware, no computer crashes etc. Trust codecs!
