Media Player Classic for me it has some nifty features like closing when finished playing a file or even shutting down, it also seems to have good resizing features compared to WMP. It still needs work on the playlist feature.

I like the Inmatrix Zoom Player for videos and Foobar 2000 for audio on my Win 7 RTM x64 installations. Wife uses WMP and Zune.

I just tried the KMPlayer and i've got to say that i'm impressed. With oidicles
render optimization there really is a difference in quality, compared to the MPC HC x64 i used before, which i cant set to 16-235->0-255 [SD][HD] shader btw, its grey for me idk. The "normalization" for audio is quite usefull for vidoes with not-so-good quality, the loud explosions wont wake my neighbours anymore cause the talking was rather whispering and i had to put the speakers on 100%. Unfortunatly, video and audio are not synch in "The International 1080p 264h Bluray rip". So there is still use for codecs and MPC.

I use WMP Classic Home Cinema from Guru3D because it uses graphic card accel for .mkv files (h.264 and x.264 video). Otherwise, it's all PowerDVD for me which also can take advantage of accel for MPEG2, DivX, XviD and others.

Here's the settings for WMP Classic:

MPC Home Cinema / WMP12 with CCCP have always worked fine for me. :)
