How can I restore missing Video thumbnails? (Windows 7)
My thumbnails usually have a "screen cap" of what the video is. Now, it just look like this (see attachment below). It's only with my videos that I'm having this problem with. And, it's not just "some" videos that doesn't have a thumbnail, it's all of them. What can I do to fix this?

My system is currently not showing video files as thumbnail images in any folder(s), just the default AVI, WMV, MPEG icons. Picture files such as JPEG, GIF, display the thumbnail image of the given picture just fine.

1.There is an option in folder options : ALWAYS SHOW ICONS, NEVER THUMBNAILS.
Is it possible to set this option only to a specific folder not all folders?
2.If the answer to question above is no, so how can i disable thumbnails for a specific file...
My thumb nails for every file format is just the generic video file icon. This is very very annoying when trying to video edit. If you have a solution for just the .MTS file type that would help ALOT.
Somewhere along the line windows explorer stopped displaying thumbnails for video files in My Videos (see pic). I'm not sure what triggered the change but a few things I did recently include uninstalling Windows Media Center and rebuilt the WMP library.
