WMP10 Sync to Sansa Nets Split Albums-3 Merge as unknown

    Win 7 Hm Prem w/ WMP10 New Computer ---
WMP 10 found My Music folder by itself and presented all of the Albums in the Music Section.
In Syncing the Albums (tried Sync as Playlists hoping to keep all album songs together) to a Sansa e260 ('07 built) Player I notice the Sync Sort by Artist makes (ie) Duets in an Album Separate as a single song Outside the main Album group; 3 DIFFERENT albums got Merged as an Unknown Folder and I don't know the reason.

Doing better than at the Start but is there any Help on the Grouping Logic re: the Split-away songs and WHY 3 CD's Merged as One Unknown? They All Appeared OK prior when Rhapsody had managed the Sync to Sansa. Had a glitch and Starting from Scratch building Sansa Album list with WMP10.

    Many Thanks!

I've had similar things happen to my music on my PC when I let MP "Update Music files by retrieving media information from the internet". Albums spilt in two, and stuff that was already tagged come up as unknown. I always turn that option off now as I have spent countless hours editing all my MP3 tags. I'm not sure that is your problem but the outcome is similar.

Thanks for that; I think the System is just too data rich for the WMP software staff to consider every unintended consequence; It would be nice if you could Sort Syncs by Both Artist (1st) and Album (2nd); Tag Edits are probably the only fix once the data gets inserted, so I'll live with this awhile and see what happens.

    Thanks again!
