    mpeg1,2,3 missing in 64 bit?

Hi all. Has anyone noticed (who is using vlc) that the Win 7 64bit does not have mpeg1,2 or 3 listed in the associate files, set defaults list? MY x86 's are all noting them but not 64. Curious as to know why this is? Does 64 not list standard mpegs? I know it runs them. I can watch any codec between VLC & WMP.
Let me know what your experience has born out.
    Thanks,
    J

Sorry it is mpeg, mpeg1, mpeg2 and mpeg4 that are not listed as file choices in the associated / default programs.

    okay...

Is there anything I should know about the install or is it standard? also I am not looking to make VLC my default player en mass just want the mpegs. Thanks for replying so promptly. BTW-Is this an issue with vlc or Win7 64 bit?
    Thanks again,
    J
Holy Crap! This looks awesome! Am I to understand this will enable WMP to handle mkv?
