    BnW Image Effect


    Hi, I don't know if this is the right forum to ask this question as it's about photoshop but I would Love to know how to achieve this kind of b&w effect , I tried greyscale , threshold but no luck, better yet is there a filter to do an effect like this ?

    hey thanks, but those tutorials don't describe about the white details in image, I have complete topaz plugins set as well as alien skin complete set but still I can't do this effect

    Turn black and white and then create adjustment layer, choose 'levels' and slide the black and white apart/together.

    Makes the black look 'blacker' if that's possible lol

    To finalise and save as .jpg, flatten the layers and save as .jpg or whatever format you need it to be.

    Cut out your image that you want, convert to B&W, raise contrast and add a black layer below. Unless there's something I don't see?
