    AVI video playback problems


    My friend gave me some AVI format videos to watch and only 2 videos out of 12 play on the 'DivX plus player' i have installed on my computer.

    The information for Episode 1 is the same as the info for Episode 5.
    Episode 2 contains the same info for all others (2,3,4,6,7,8,9,10,11,12)

    I was wondering if there was any way i could edit the info so that all videos contain the same properties as Episode 1 as Episode 1 and 5 also play on WMP and the others do not.

    However all files play on my friends computer.

    VLC player can be downloaded from the internet and plays most formats of videos..
    just for anyone who has a similar issue :)

    well, vlc, media player classic and bunch of other players does this task , additionally you can install shark codecs to be able to play every file in almost any video player, just to let you know.
