Blu-ray Digital Copies

Hi Guys

Does anyone have any experience with digital copies and windows media player. I currently have around 40 digital movie copies on an external hdd all activated through windows media player.
Now I know the activation codes can only be used once on one device and from previous experience if I re-install windows the copies will no longer work. So my question is where is the activation data kept. I presume its in the media player files somewhere. Is it possible to copy these out and replace them on a clean install, or will I loose the lot.

No, found out the hard way. If you use WMP to activate your digital copies and re-install windows you loose the lot, there is no way in media player 11 of backing up the DRM rights. Best to use iTunes as they are then stored online with your account.

DVD Digital Copies
I don't want to have to use the Digital Copy of my DVD's because of the whole stinking DRM crap, so I was wondering if anyone could tell me how I go about digitizing a few of my movies so that we can watch them on ANY computer? These are the movies for which I have the Digital Copy DVD of: I...

Hi, I've recently switched to Digital Audio (S/PDIF) (High Definition Audio Device) using one Toslink cable instead of all the analog wires going from my PC to my receiver. The digital sound is amazing, CD quality from my PC is great. However, I now also receive the digitized sound of...

Two different copies of same .dll
Hello, Apparently a problem I had thought fixed had resurfaced. Upon investigation I find that 2 programs use the same "delzip179.dll". I have had failures to load errors in Administrative Events. I've found that there are two different copies of the same named (above) .dll. Could this be the...

Digital Concepts Digital Camera
I just purchased a new digital camera and when I went to install the driver cd that came with it, it said the driver is not compatible with my version of Windows (7). Is there anyway that I can find a new driver? I'm not very knowledgable with drivers and if this possible. Or if not a driver is...
Where should you see runDLL32.exe, and how many copies?
Hi everyone. Quick question for you all. Sorry if it's so quick as to be stupid! I'm running Win 7 x64 Professional for this inquiry: rundll32.exe is a common MicroSoft Windows file that most of us have seen before. Also, it's a commonly impersonated file when it comes to nasties and malware! ...

WMP has two copies of each song?
Yesterday, I created a new partition on my HD, and moved my documents, videos, and music into it. Today, when I opened my WMP, it began "updating media files"... and it created a second copy of all my music! A typical album now looks like this: track 1 track 1 track 2 track 2 ...etc... ...
