Happy Ending

God I love a Happy Ending. My neighbor and his family (wife, 2 kids) finally were able to take a
long overdue vacation. They went to Jamaica and while there, took about 600 pictures with
their digital camera. Upon returning home, my neighbor (not a tech wizard) put the camera
chip in a USB thumb Drive holder and inserted it into the kids XBOX 360 thinking he could view
the pictures.
Not sure just what he then did but he managed to overwrite the thumb with about 16GB of XBOX
data in 14 files. His pictures Ė all gone. I tried several file recovery programs but to no end. Then
I got thinking Ė maybe the 14 files created were just file names and the pictures were still there
In the space allocated to the XBOX files.
Nothing to lose so I deleted the XBOX 360 files and then ran Pandora file recovery again. Voila,
600 pictures recovered. My neighbor and his wife were so happy I think they wanted to buy me
a new red Ferrari 458 Spider. LOL. Ya I wish. Allís well that ends well. Arenít happy endings just
the best.
Cheers
