    How can i install WMP 12


    I've got win7 version without IE8 and WMP12. i am experiencing problems with playeing wmv files. So, How can i install WMP 12?

    You could also try installing the windows 7 codec pack which would help you with viewing. If you get no resolution with wmp, try something like VLC.

    Installing win7codecs did't help with playing wmv files. i just need to find a way to install wmp 12.

    I've got 64bit Win7 so i found the same update for 64 bit edition but it didn't want to install (the application is not applicable for your computer).

    Go to control Panel - programs - turn windows features on and off

    Does that not give you the option to add the programs missing from the N versions back in - have not worked with N versions but if Microsoft follows it's own setup standards - I should be an option

    No, there is no such option present in there.
