Windows Media Player disappeared but still installed.

Windows Media Player has disappeared from my desktop and from the list of ''all programs''. When i try to download it, I get an already ''installed message'' What do I do ?

Yes it's there. But when I click on set-up I get a message that no updates are available. How do I reactivate it ?

Why click on setup? Just double click on the application (wmplayer) and it should open. Right click and drag out to create a shortcut.

Thank you. It's back on my desktop.

Anyone has any idea why it disappeared? I certainly did not remove it.

Maybe the media features were somehow removed. Removing these features through CP does not remove the actual files, just the shortcuts are removed to prevent access.
