error in importing .wlmp files to W DVD Maker

I am running Windows 7 home premium with SP1, Windows Live Movie Maker (v2011 build 15.4.3555.0308).

I have created several projects (slide shows with music and titles) in WLMM. When I try to import to Windows DVD Maker, I get an error message ".....wlmp is no a supported file type".

Do I need to save these projects in a different file format ? if so how ?

Any help gratefully received ! Thanx
