    Convert small video clip to be able to email?


    Hi
    I have a small video clip I need to email, how do I resize it so I can email it?
    Current size approx 30MB

    wouldnt it be quicker and easier to upload it to skydrive,or dropbox then send a link instead.

    Thanks, these are good, but I would still like to find out how to convert small files and send to multiple address's via email?

    When I hover over the icon it show (.wmv)

    I have done this in the past but cannot find how to do it now :-(

    The videos I have now posted on Skydrive, but I would like to know how to do it?

    Most video formats including wmv's are compressed to a degree. That means you cannot effectively ZIP them to make them smaller. You can create a ZIP file but it will only very marginally reduce the file size. I have just zipped a 25mb wmv file and the ZIP file is 24.9mb
    The only other way to reduce the file size is to reduce the bitrate of the file. You will probably find that the bitrate of your wmv file is about 8000. You can afford to reduce that to 5000 but anything less than that and you will get a considerable drop in video quality. The only practical way of sending a video clip to use a hosting site as you have done!

    Better send file(s) using www.wetransfer.com
    They will be kept on wetransfer servers for 2 weeks.

    wetransfer.com is a well known trick to do it. But there are more.... Send Big Files for example
