    No thumbnail previews whatsoever

First off, I wanted to report one of my threads for .mp4 and .flv thumbnails had been removed. Shark007 provided a great codec pack that I wanted to try again but this thread is g-o-n-e.

Secondly, there are no thumbnail previews at all. But can someone please fetch Shark007's link from that thread if possible ?

    try here
    sharks codecs

alterantively you can just use the icaros package that sharks use for their codec pack, the beauty is you get your thumbnails without messing with codecs if you dont need the codec pack.

Thanks much and for the humor.. I am trying the Shark Pack I thinks unless Icaros is choice

But not only that, even my folder icons appear empty ! All folders look like new folders with nothing inside. Despite they are chock full

personally i use icaros, i dont need the codecs as i use splash palyer which has its own codecs, so no extras needed.
if you need the codecs then use sharks, if you dont then use icaros, thats whats in the sharks codecs to give you the thumbs anyway,
so whichever you use you still have icaros, its less hassle with just the icaros pack.
as for the folder thumbnails. see if they change once you have used icaros.

you could try running a sfc scan,
do it 3 times rebooting between each try.

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
