    Auto Play is Not Opening for Any Media or Device


    Help!! The Auto-Play/Run is not doing anything. I can put in a store bought CD and it should come up with Auto Run and give me choices to what to open it with whether it be a CD with music on it or a new WD My Passport 1TB External hard drive I just purchased and must have Auto Play/Run operating properly to use it. Please help!!

    The only thing I can recommend is checking the Auto Play control panel.

Hello, Every time i insert a DVD, i'd like to have WMC autoplay (since i use a remote). However, WMC isn't on one of the autoplay options. Is it possible to have all my DVDs auto-play with WMC? I'm using pro 64 bit. Thanks
Is there a good reason why MS don't equip either the media centre or the media player with the ability to play MP4's. I don't see why they can't play them,and surely it would be in MS's best interest if they could play them.
