Ok, I did everything carwiz suggested (took me awhile lol) and still can't add/edit my own tags. However, I found a program (paid and not third party) that allows me to tag. Not sure this is a solution, but its something. Also, my partner has the identical desktop computer that I have, same model, same everything and she can tag easily in Windows 7.

Did you run Adwcleaner and save the logs it generated?

Yes, post the log from AdwCleaner and rerun the SF Diagnostic Utility. There were so many errors that I probably missed a lot. I did a quick scan and picked the ones known to cause problems on some systems.

Here is the log from Adw Cleaner and I also did the sf/scannow. Rebooted. I will also run the diagnostic utility again.AdwCleaner[R1].zip

Hi, I had a few minutes to check in. This cats picture is fine. There is no problem tagging it. If you cannot do that in your system, some other program throws a monkey wrench into the ssytem. Suggest you start the search for the culprit with what Carwiz proposed.

thanks for checking in whs. I have done what carwiz suggested, nothing has changed. I will keep working here on my end, trying different things. I have removed all the software that carwiz suggested and any third party software. Thanks for your help.
