    Pictures in Photo Gallery

I am currently working to update my photo gallery ie removing duplicate pictures. Included in my pictures are pictures that have a strange number assigned to them. For example a assigned picture number is #C382288803. I don't know if I can use these pictures in a project and to delete a duplicate picture that is also assigned to this number.

Can someone please help me with this.

    I appreciate any help.

Do you have pictures with identical names you mean? It is generally not possible to have the same name for a file, a duplicate would be #C382288803(1) for example.

No I do not have duplicate pictures. I wonder if these are thumb nails? that have the letter C with numbers after it. When I open the items with the letter C with the numbers the picture is very small so I know I won't be able to use these small pictures in my projects. I do thank you for your help.

They may be thumbnails and should be in a folder called thumbs.db and is hidden.
