Migrate License error for music after upgrade to Win 7 x64

    Hi guys
I just "upgraded" my Win 7 to the x64 version a few days ago but am running into some issues I've not come across before & unsure what's provoking them.

This particular one relates to Windows Media Player 12 (which always played fine in the x32 version) which intermittently throws up this Migrate License error page stating it requires the latest version of IE but I installed that right at the outset so really can't figure why it keeps thinking it's not available (never knew the 2 were linked anyway!!).

I can sort it temporarily by restarting WMP, but it's tedious having to do that each time it happens, so wondering if anyone knows of a better fix for it?

    Thanks

Migrate License Error for music after Win 7 install

Hi. This is my first post so I hope it's in the right place, sorry if it's not!

Windows 7 Professional has just been installed on my pc with Internet Explorer 11. My former Media Player files were backed up and added. However, every time I try to play some music, I get the 'Migrate License Error' message telling me my browser is no longer supported and I "must install Internet Explorer 7 or later". Which is crazy since IE 11 is installed.

I tried disabling add-ons and re-setting IE, to no avail.

Thanks. Am not very knowledgeable so really need advice
