    Reduce Video File Size


    I have taken some videos on my iPhone, and have imported them as .MOV files onto my Windows system to tweak them before publishing them on the web.

    However, they are HUGE (30 - 85 Meg) - completely unsuitable as they currently stand. They only run for 30 secs or so each - goodness knows what Apple has included in them. Can anyone suggest how I can reduce their size by accepting some reduction in quality? I am happy yo convert them to any format that I can subsequently publish to the web

    Use an application such as Freemake Video Converter to change them to another format.

I guess gmail won't allow 5 mb attachment. How do I make this smaller? I already compressed it.
I have scanned in a load of photo slides as tiff images. I have found that, if I add one or more tags to the images using Windows Explorer the file size per image decreases from about 5MB to 4MB. There is no noticeable decrease in resolution. Why does the size decrease?

After downloading quite a few videos...usually 720x720, I have noticed that when I download a file that is 640x640, that it is somwhat larger than the one with the higher resolution. It would seem that it should be just the opposite, since the higher one has to cover more screen area. Can someone...
I need a bit of help with reducing the actual file size of a lot of pictures that i have,i want to do them all in one go ,and i don't think paint is capable of doing this. A simple bat/batch file command would be ok ?
