App crashes explorer.exe when importing pictures

    App crashes explorer.exe when importing pictures


    Greetings, I have a problem ONLY when I use the "import pictures and videos" option when connecting my cell phone. The problem is that it explorer crashes, and i have to reinitiate explorer. I get the next message:

    It starts importing, then at the 13 - 15 picture, it crashes when importing photos and videos and i never get my photos imported.

    Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
    Have you install a third party codec pack ?
    Seems xvid might be at fault,
    Uninstall the codec pack and see if it does anything positive,

    Just for the record VLC media player has just about all codecs included in it's player and it's free
