How could I create a DVD from BBC iPlayer

I wish to record a program from BBC iPlayer onto a DVD so that I could play it later.

It was one from BBC Radio 6 and I was among the invited to be part of the spectators watching a musician paly and during interviewing the musician I was asked to ask a question. All these are in the broadcast that last for in this 30 minutes program.

I do not know if it is DRM protected. The BBC site has this available for 30 days.

Is there any [freeway] I could record to transfer it to a DVD so that I could play back after 30 days window available on BBC?

    Regards

A DVD is a bit of an overkill for 30 minutes of audio. If your pc has 'record what you hear' (aka stereo mix), I'd say play the program on iPlayer and record the audio using Audacity etc. Then burn to CD. Bypassing BBC DRM is a bit close to Forum rule #4 re piracy.

The link above to Aimersoft - AFAIK that is a paid for app - from website, the trial version has

    1. The output audio file is limited to only one minute.
    2. There will be watermarks on the output video files.

also, after purchase, there's no guarantee that the DRM removal works.
