    mp4 video playing sideways question

When I take videos with my Android phone in portrait (saved as .mp4) and transfer them to my computers - they play just fine, but when a friend of mine opens them in his Windows 7 Pro - they play sideways... Both of us are using WMP to open the videos.

I have been looking for settings that (maybe) auto-rotate the videos on my computers and not on his, but I have found nothing. Any ideas to why the videos would play differently on his WMP?

Can you post one of these clips (or a short version) somewhere so I can look at it? Please provide the URL.

For some reason when you shoot videos holding Android phones sideways (widescreen), media players tend to display them the incorrect way. VLC player has a rotate option and I would suggest that over WMP for video needs.
