Can't play audio, or any kind of video, online or offline.

Something went badly wrong with my computer since yesterday. I was deleting files in my Local Disc C (I didn't touch anything on system32 or anything that sounded important BUT there must have been something that I have touched and I don't know what it is.) and the next day, I couldn't play a video I was supposed to be watching on the internet. I tried playing my movies on my computer and it still doesn't play. It seems to be kind of stuck since the unmoving shots of the movie is there. Same with YouTube videos. It just keeps buffering and buffering and showing an unmoving shot. I've tried doing a sfc \scannow but it didn't work. I don't know what to do. There's no start-up sound, it seems like something is disabled. Can someone please tell me what to do? It would be greatly appreciated.

I have tried downloading my Flash Player again which I stupidly deleted because I thought replacing it would do the thing. But it only made it worse. I could not download my Flash Player. Sucks. Also everytime I want to install Java it gets an error. I really need some help on this.

Try a System Restore to a date prior to the issue, say 2 days ago.
