Error saving Pictures to Pictures folder

    Hi,
    You never stated what happens if you click on Yes on that popup window to save to My Pictures ?

    A bazar popup
    How are you about creating a new administrator user account to test with ?

    User Account - Create

    It asks me if I want to save to Documents. I can save there. If I try saving like a spreadsheet, I have to save it elsewhere. I tried the idea of a new account, however everything I had is gone.

    Hi,
    As long as the folders are in a public area then all other user accounts can access them,
    Libraries - Personal and Public User Folders

    If all else take ownership of the folder in both accounts,
    Take Ownership Shortcut

    Here is a pic of my attempt to install "Take Ownership". Yeah, it failed.

    Using your suggestion I will now move all my pictures to Public Pictures. This was all caused by Win10. As I have already reset my computer once within the last 12 months, I'd rather not do that again any time soon!

    Oh well, thank you so much for your time & attempted help! I will just have to live with the fact that I will again at some future time need to reload my system again! :-(
