I have lost my camtasia recording

Hey guys i used camtasia recorder, after i clicked save its opened in same windows as i was opened before from another project. I closed it by mistake and now i cant find the file... the old project is still there but the new one?

I really appreciate the help...

Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, 64-bit

Use Windows search or some other search tool using the Camtasia file extension as a search term or any other likely characters that might be found in the file name.

I'd at least look in C:\users\whatever your user name is\. There are a bunch of folders there.

Why do these companies always have multiple softwares that are essentially the same thing? I went to their website, and cannot figure out wtf is the difference. All of them can record on your screen. I think 2 of them can edit. IDK.
Camtasia studio 5 gives error for audio
