KODI USER cp NOT VISIBLE

Hoping may be some Kodi users out there can help me.

Kodi has sent me a new password which needs changing to one chosen by myself. Advises me to
access via link user cp which is supposed to appear on "almost any page" - not clear whether they mean on the support forum or on the Kodi menu. I can`t find it or any mention of it on browsers and help sheets.

Also having trouble with playback failure. I managed to download the log but was directed to Ubuntu site.
When I copied the log and pasted it on to Kodi Help Forum, the query was blocked. Maybe because the log was quite long. Any help would be appreciated. Tempted to give up on Kodi though it is picking up SOME cds and pictures are ok. Dare I post the log here ?

Thanks for trying to help. I decided to uninstall anyway when I found the Pictures Menu was showing the passwords I had
on a USB stick - ignoring the password ! I am trying 5K instead. Will mark this solved
