    Photo descriptions in Windows 7

Hello. I have just upgraded from Vista to Windows 7. All the photos I had so carefully and easily labelled in Vista don't have the description automatically showing in Windows 7. I see that if I go into "Properties" that they are here. But is there anyway of getting them to show up without having to go into Properties?

Please know that I have pretty basic computer knowledge when you reply! :)

(Happy to use alternative photo freeware, but only really want it for labelling; nothing else really.) TIA!

    Hi and welcome to SevenForums
Have you switched from probably Folder view to tag view ?

Thanks for that, but I am trying to view the title/description, not the tag. In Vista, a pane used to show up on the right of the photo. Easy to insert a title and then when you scrolled through photo by photo, you could always see how you had labelled it. It was such an easy and convenient function; it seems crazy that Windows 7 doesn't have it. So this is what I want to view automatically ("Indi - Christmas Day", without having to go into Properties to view...

    Hi,
On the top left click on Organize and Layout and check the Details pane listing
About the only windows explorer way to see the title.... appear across the bottom on the window.
