If you are looking for an easy way to add metadata, (including Album art), to a MP3 file take a look at mediamonkey

MediaMonkey Free Media Jukebox, Music Manager, CD Ripper & Converter

This will allow you to add art and all other data to your files - it even has a direct link to Amazon.com for finding the info

sounds like you need to tag the file with a tagging program such as tag&rename, Jaikoz, or mp3tag. Tag&rename will be easiest for you i believe.

Easy way to embed art into mp3's MP3TAG - Mp3tag - the universal Tag Editor (ID3v2, MP4, OGG, FLAC, ...)

I use it myself and is very intuitive and quick to use.
