Windows 7 no longer plays DVDs automatically

It used to be when I inserted a DVD into the drive, it would play the movie automatically. Now, I have to "open" the disk and then select the file. I have configured autoplay in the control panel, but it makes no difference. I can't autoplay DVDs that I have burned either. Any ideas? Win& 64 Home Premium.

    It`s not an uncommon problem.

See if this helps, there`s a couple of videos.
