    Windows media player

Hi I was wondering if someone could tell me what must I do to find out what version of WMP I have. I have a TB hard drive with Intel i7 2600 computer and right at 6000 songs and it hangs all the time.

I type a song and I know it's there as I just seen it like 15 minutes ago and it will just sit there like thinking and come back it's not found. Does anyone have the same problem and do you know how to correct it.

    Thank You,
    Danny...
