How to watch 3d Movie on PC using Samsung Gear VR or similar gadget ?

I have used my Samsung Gear VR to watch 3d movies in it.

However i was wondering , can i use this gear VR headset to watch 3D movies on my pc. This GEAR VR headset has an option of see through the glasses.

Is there any possibility to use them to watch a regular 3d movie (side by side) on my pc monitor..

VR headsets are not to be confused with 3D.

You would need a separate 3D Glasses to be able to view anything on 3D. Even the cheap ones will do okay.
