    Windows Photo Gallery Icons Corrupt


    So I was wondering what the heck was going on and I discovered that setting my default program to open photos to Photo Gallery it gives these ugly default unknown icons when on Small/Details.



    Is there anyway to fix this? If I set it to Windows Photo Viewer it comes up properly but I don't want to use that.

    Besides Windows Photo Viewer what program do You want Your photos to be opened with ?

Recently I performed a clean install of 7 on my sisters laptop. She had Windows Photo Gallery that she used to edit photos. Well that is gone now and I need to find a replacement for it. Since Microsoft no longer supports or provide a download, does anyone know of a free software that she could use?
Moving Photo's in Windows Photo Gallery

Is there any way I can move one picture in photo gallery to another position well away from the original position.Tried copy and paste but that failed to work.
I've used Photo Fuse a few time but now when I try to use it, it thinks for a few seconds then either shuts down Windows Live Photo Gallery or restarts it. I've tried upgrading from 2011 to 2012 but this has not solved the problem. Can anyone help?
Is there a way to export photo's from Photo Gallery to a USB so that when I open the USB it shows the photo and not a list of file numbers which when opened turns into a slide show.What I am trying to do is replicate in a USB when I open it to what I see when I open Photo Gallery.
