    My shortcut to color profile picker has disappeared after installing..


    Hi. I was using Datacolor Sypder3 Elite to calibrate my screen. I forget how I got a shortcut to a list of calibrations onto my taskbar but it was convenient to change them in low light, high light, and so on. It was called "Profile picker."

    Now that I installed Spyder5, that shortcut no longer points anywhere, probably because I uninstalled the Spyder3 software.

    Does anyone know where color profiles are kept on a Windows 7 Home Premium system?

    Windows Display Calibration is located in Color Management.


    The ICC color profiles are located in Windows\system32\spool\drivers\color by default. Perhaps the Spyder software accessed from this folder.

Hello, On my laptop i use a color profile, but i have to turn it off when i connect to my LCD, then back on when removing LCD. So i wondered what is the command line to tick/untick the "use my settings for that device" in the "color managing" section? Thanks.

I received a new color profile for my pc windows 7.. saved it to my desktop.. right clicked and clicked on install nothing happened- it didn't install in options I unblocked it. What do I do.. Hope its simple.. I am very dumb when it comes to this. Thanks, Alicia
Hello everyone. I want to color calibrate my new Dell XPS 15z laptop, but before I do I'd like to back up the existing color profile in case I prefer it to the calibrated one ... The only problem is, when I open Color Management, NO default color profile is listed, so I don't know what to go...
Hi there Does anyone else have a problem entering 3 digit values into the Windows 7 color picker?? It's bizarre - I can only enter 2, and geta sytem ping if I try to type a third. I even tried reducing my font size, but that's clearly not it. Any suggestions?? Cheers Robin
