I assume that you are thinking of disabling IE in Programs and Features!
There is no reason why Windows Media Player will not work.
If it doesn't however, you can always re-enable it.

you disable usb ports by these method
1 by device manager
2 from bios
3 from registery
4 from 3rd generation software
is there any addition method except these or not

I seem to get loads of issues when I disable UAC it's incredible! :geek:
Gadgets not working, firefox refreshing pages randomly, adobe reading returning blank errors, etc...
