Is it possible to add keyword tags to Video Files in Explorer ???

Like the title says, is it possible to add keyword tags to Video Files in Explorer ?

I searched this question with Duck Duck Go and came up with page after page of dead ends that looked promising until I read them.

I know how to add tags in Properties > Details, but that does not work for video files (unless I don't know the trick).

I would not be against a 3rd party FREE program that did this, so long as it doesn't use sidecar files.

Thanks for reading and all help is appreciated.

Check out Mediamonkey, the free version

Although primarily a library system for Audio Files (MP3, FLAK Etc). it also allows you access to the internal metadata of many Video formats, and can add in a batch method, (select a number of files in the "folder" and apply the same info to multiple files.

It's also a video player, and will allow organisation of titles etc, and is fully skinnable if you wish to match a system theme you use

Thanks; I will certainly do that.
Media Monkey wouldn't happen to have a family connection to the chain-smoker in your atavar picture ?

Hi. For a few days, my portable Avidemux had stopped working for no apparent reason - a 'crash' message occurred with whatever type of video I tried to load. I thought it might be codec related so I installed the Shark007 codec pack (even though I don't believe in using codec packs). Avidemux...

Can't edit mp3 tags in explorer pane
I can't enter the tags and all I have is the title of the mp3 showing. Something makes me think it has to do with the tag editor I used and maybe not though. I'm using Win7 Home premium. It seems like there is something in the registry blocking modification. I hate to lose all the mp3s that want...
