    MP3 Playlist Question

I've created a playlist for my MP3 files that I use on an AGPtek M20 player. The playlist works mostly OK, but recently, after playing file number 99 it showed that it was playing file number 22. Here are the file names for those:
    #22: The Rolling Stones-Singles-1963-1965.mp3
    #100: The Rolling Stones-Singles-1965-1967.mp3

I haven't been able to find any explanation for this. Any suggestions on getting this playlist to work properly?

Sounds like you have a Meta Data, specifically a Meta Tag cross or mismatch, one of the entries has 22, try clearing the tags with say MP3tag by Florian Heidenreich
Check you players specs to see what meta-tag set it uses. They usually have a few that they read well. Yep, you have to test a few to see what is compatible on your player(S).
MP3tag, in options, has every available meta whatever.

    Happy Computing!

    Thanks for your reply.

I just looked at the properties of the two files I had noted and the tag values, ID3v2.3 (ID3v1 ID3v2.d), are the same (also the same for every other file in the folder).

I have over 400 MP3 files on my card, all of which I created. The player so far hasn't had any problems with any of the other files its played in my playlist (up to about file number 120).

Which variable should I be most concerned with to correct this problem?
