    Converting All MOV's to Wmv

Can someone tell me if there's a way to convert all MOV's on my Windows 7 computer to either m4v or wmv? The QuickTime videos, unfortunately, don't have a preview on any of the videos. I first tried converting a few videos at a time, but I have so many it would take me forever. Please tell me there's a way to globally convert all my mov's. Otherwise, I'll be a slave to my computer for a long time to come. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I wonder if this would do the trick-

Enable Video Thumbnail Preview in Windows Explorer

I found a blog which makes a bunch of registry changes to accomplish what you want but, if that utility helps, it's much more simple.

Edit: I just tried it in Vista and it worked.

Video conversion is complicated so there isn't a way to globally convert. I recently converted some movies using handbrake. What I like about handbrake is that there is a queue so once you do set up it automatically goes from one movie to another. One note is that it will max out your processor no matter what priority setting you use so be prepared to lose most of your functionality of your computer for the duration of your project.

Nero Recode will do the same thing but it's not free.

Check here: Free Video Converters - SnapFiles

What you really need is a batch conversion software.

You can easily do it by using the KineMaster app if you want to do it through the mobile device.

HooTeck has a bulk convert utility that has successfully converted many of my videos from X to Y, few or many at a time. It is not free, however, the price was reasonable when I purchased their tiny collection.
