As someone who likes to download movies to my computer and then transfer them to a blank disk so I can watch them on my TV, I've noticed more sites now only have vids that can be watched in basic form on a computer with no problem, but once I transfer them onto a disk and attempt to watch them on my TV the picture starts to shimmer with every motion on the screen. The faster the objects move the faster the shimmer. From having a look online I believe it's called "anti aliasing". My guess is that some sites now install anti-piracy programs on the vids? My problem is that I hate watching movies through the computer. I much prefer using my DVD player and watch them through my TV. Any idea how I can stop this really annoying problem, maybe through editing in some way?
