Hi Kwit7, Welcome to SF,

The best way i would recommend would to uninstall the Adobe Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX control using Adobe uninstaller from their website How to uninstall the Adobe Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX control then download the latest we have a great sticky thread by Shawn Latest Version of Adobe Flash Player

Once you do that if you have a Firewall it would recommend to add the Flash executable file to their exception list.

If you have any questions please let us know

Hope this helps

Problem solved!

I had previously re-installed flash, but this time I tried uninstalling all other flash related programs using revo uninstaller. I'm not exactly sure which program was causing the problem, but it might have been a Flash 8 encoder that was somehow interfering. I wouldn't have thought that this would cause a newer flash program not to work, but here we are.

Back to the distracting glory of online TV. Thanks so much CaptJackSparrow and computersplus for your help.
